When changing media in tank system NSS-817 - NSS-1252 turn off the water or use bypass valve CK-V3006.
The head of your system can then be unscrewed. Lift off the head with associated riser pipe, clean if necessary. Empty the glass fiber tank on contents, rinse clean. Be careful with the threads on the tank inlet and the threads on the head. Then fill the tank with replacement media, always use the right size for the right model otherwise the result will not match. Check that all filters are clean. Then mount head with riser pipe. . The goose can be lubricated with white silicone. Tilt the tank during assembly so that riser pipes come at the bottom of the bottom. Then the head can be screwed on. Note does not span. sealing takes place via o-ring. Then install the tank against the water connection, then slowly fill the tank with the outlet turned off until the tank is filled with water. Then open the outlet. at least 3 years of continued treatment is in operation
Scalestop media can, after use, be discarded as combustible material

Oil & sulfa must be removed before the Scalestop installation.
Polyphosphate must be removed prior to the Scalestop installation
*Attention
High levels of copper will destroy the Scalestop medium. If Scalestop is installed with new copper pipes, they will leak. Wait at least 4 weeks before the system is started. When installing the tank system, use bypass unit CK-V3006 to bypass the system. For cartridge systems, remove the cartridge and apply the Scalstop cartridge (the inner one) to the Big Green
**Scalestop does not reduce silica deposits. Silicon can act as a binder that makes water stains and coatings difficult to remove. The limitation of 20 ppm is for aesthetic purposes only.
